Ingredients:

- Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on high heat for 3-4 whistles or until the lentils are fully cooked and soft.
- Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.
- Open the lid and add chopped spinach to the cooked lentils.
- Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the spinach is cooked.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil or ghee in a separate pan and add cumin seeds. Let the cumin seeds splutter.
- Pour the tempering over the cooked dal and spinach.
- Mix well and serve hot with rice or roti.
