Instructions:

1. Making the Koftas:

  • Mix green peas, mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, cumin powder, coriander powder, cornflour, and salt in a bowl.
  • Divide the mixture into equal-sized portions and shape them into small balls.
  • Take a pan, heat oil, and fry the koftas until golden brown.

2. Making the Gravy:

  • In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  • Add the chopped onions after the seeds crackle and saute until golden brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Saute for a minute.
  • Add the tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes until the oil separates.
  • Add the coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to taste.
  • Add 1 cup of water and let the gravy simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the fried koftas to the gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti or rice.
